Our Story

After working for years in the insurance industry and frustrated by exorbitant fees and mediocre results from large law firms, consulting groups, and ex-insurance department employees claiming to be able to obtain Certificates of Authority and other regulatory approvals, Jodi Lash founded J Lash & Company in 1993.

Leveraging her analytic ability, negotiating skills, and extensive long-term relationships, combined with sheer dogged tenacity, Jodi helps insurance companies enhance profitability, spread risk, and increase franchise value by strategically growing her client's geographic footprint.

Prior to founding J. Lash & Company, Jodi served as Vice President, Secretary and Legal Counsel for National Interstate Insurance Company (a subsidiary of Great American Insurance Company) and Assistant Vice President, Senior Product Manager, Legal Manager and Claims Attorney for Progressive Insurance Company. She has and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of several insurance companies as well as nonprofit entities.
